Deer Valley Dining

If fresh seafood, acclaimed restaurants, traditional European Alps cuisine, renowned views or fireside dining in a chic lodge sound like a dining experience you’d enjoy If fresh seafood, acclaimed restaurants, traditional European Alps cuisine, renowned views or fireside dining in a chic lodge sound like a dining experience you’d enjoy then the Deer Valley dining options are sure to please. Sure, Deer Valley restaurants trend towards high-end and expensive, but the quality is unrivaled and the experience unforgettable.

Deer Valley Restaurants

You haven’t properly experienced Deer Valley grandeur if you don’t have at least one lunch at Royal Street Café. Located at 8,100 feet, just below Bald Mountain, Royal Street Cafe affords you epic view sophisticated comfort food, like their maple bacon bbq bison burger or house pulled pork sandwich, Dungeness crab and classic ski lunch eats like turkey chili. Fireside dining at Empire Canyon Lodge is another don’t-miss dining experience, where you can enjoy classic European alpine fare, like Swiss onion soup, raclette, duck confit and seared rabbit, and more modern fusion dishes as well. Fireside is open for dinner only.

It just so happens that Deer Valley’s Seafood Buffet is one of Zagat Restaurant Guide’s “America's Top Restaurants.” So, throw any preconceptions about buffets or the freshness of seafood—since Utah is 700 miles from the ocean—out the door. The Seafood Buffet is like no buffet you’ve ever had, the quality and freshness is mind-blowing and the natural bar, which features favorites like freshly shucked west coast oysters and pacific white shrimp, and the carving station and dessert bar spare no expense.
