Park City Restaurants

When it comes to dining in Park City, this historic town truly becomes a “city.” The number of sophisticated Park City restaurants belies the small-town feel and charm, making this micro-city take on a truly urban atmosphere. There are affordable restaurants and fine dining establishments, steakhouses and sushi joints, and on-mountain and in-town eateries. With more than 100 restaurants within walking distance of downtown, the dining in Park City is one of the many reasons to book a trip.

Downtown Park City Restaurants

Downtown Park City is lined with an assortment of restaurants. There are hidden gems to be found in the strip malls in town, and little local favorites are tucked in alleys and quiet enclaves throughout Park City. Steak and prime rib are the go-to dishes in Park City, but there are many diverse menus to sample. Shabu is a local favorite that you might overlook if you didn't know that it would be a huge mistake to miss out on this Park City sushi spot. Riverhorse on Main, Prime Steakhouse and Piano Bar, and Grub Steak Restaurant are three long-time steakhouses that will cook your steak to perfection. And, Back Door Deli and Park City Bread and Bagel are two terrific options for a more relaxed and affordable meal.

On Mountain Park City Restaurants

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing sit-down restaurant or a quick grab-and-go spot, there are plenty of on-mountain restaurants at Park City Mountain Resort. Do lunch on the mountain to maximize your time on the snow, and save downtown Park City restaurants for dinner. Kristi’s Coffee Cafe, at the base of the Pay Day lift, is the spot to start your day with a cup of coffee and fresh-baked pastry. On sunny afternoons, have lunch on the deck at The Snow Hut, located at the bottom of the Silverlode lift, or at the top of the Bonanza lift at Summit House. Both have great decks for soaking in the sun and views. The Mid-Mountain Lodge is between the Pioneer and McConkey’s chairlifts, and is the spot for large groups, families, or individuals who can’t make up their minds. The burgers, sandwiches, soups, and more at Mid-Mountain Lodge are only bested by the incredible views of Jupiter Peak.

Park City Fine Dining

Even though Park City is a small mountain town tucked high in the Wasatch Mountains, it has a city’s dining scene. The Park City fine dining scene caters to a cosmopolitan clientele, and menus reflect a cultured palate. Check out Ghidotti’s for a classic Italian meal. The restaurant is both elegant and over-the-top in its décor and ambiance, and its authentic Italian food is fantastic. Another noteworthy Park City fine dining restaurant is 350 Main, a modern and sophisticated brasserie that specializes in seafood, steaks, and more. The restaurant can get loud and crowded as a result of the great menu and lively atmosphere. And, Mustang is an absolute must-try. The cuisine at Mustang is hard to define in terms of genre, but rest assured, the food is delicious as it is diverse. The chic interior is welcoming and hip, like something you’d find in New York City. Plus, the Southwestern duck chile relleno is one of the best appetizers in Park City.
