Family ski tripNice rooms and convenient to the village and slopes. Ski lockers are placed conveniently on the way out the front door. Limited dining on the mountain so consider bringing groceries to make one or two dinners in your room if coming for a week.
AdequateThe unit we were in Powderhorn 205 was about a Spartan as we have ever seen in many years of visiting higher end accommodations at Western resorts from Telluride up to Whistler. No garbage disposal (is this the 1950's?) and not even a picture on the wall in the BR's. Place was clean but in 6 night stay no interim cleaning service. Electric range and oven fine but prefer gas. No gas grill on which to cook steaks. Patio area dusty and leaf strewn. Sort of deflating when we arrived. Pro's: Lockers good. Club Solitude workout area fine. Hot tub: Good. Easy to and from lifts by foot. Convenience store had a few things we needed. Staff pleasant. Custodial staff helpful and friendly and came quickly when fireplace not working. No instructions that FP was the way LR/DR was heated. Finally had to call.
